Spring Break-Six Flags

Six Flags was our biggest question mark on this trip. Would it rain all day? Would the rides be shut down because of the weather? Should we go home and come back another time? We didn't decide until Saturday morning what we would do, but decided to take a chance and headed to the park. It turned out great, nicely overcast most of the day and not too crowded. We seemed to have out grown the kiddie rides though. While we were in "Wiggle's World" Dave asked Brett what he wanted to ride next and he said, "Anything that is not here!" He is quite the rollercoaster rider and loved the road runner coaster and especially the "Tony Hawk Big Spin" coaster. All of the kids tried something new and Ty was surprised to discover that the Superman coaster was his favorite! Sorry, no pictures, but it just wasn't worth the trouble to carry the camera around. We followed the rain all the way home, but never caught up with it. We did take one highway exit that was very flooded and I was pretty nervous about driving through it! We arrived home very tired at 10:45pm Saturday night.

Sounds like fun. My youngest hates the kiddy/sissy rides. Just give her a real roller coaster and let 'er rip.

Isn't San Antonio just the greatest? We had one of our BEST vacations there, even though it was just Mark, Alysa and myself. I'd do it again in a heartbeat!!
