Too busy to blog???

I can't decide if I have been too busy to blog, or if nothing very interesting has happened lately. Here are a few things we have been doing...

I went to "Time Out for Women" and heard some uplifting messages, good music, had some great food and hung out with some wonderful friends.

Bryce and Ty (and Dave) spent the day at the region science fair. Bryce and Ty received an honorable mention and two special awards in energy and engineering.

I made it through another enrichment night. We had a lot of fun. Our RS Presidency has challenged us all to create something. So, we had displays of everyones creations. We had a great meal and a fun "speed friendshipping" activity.
Brett and Paige went to a birthday party at a gymnastics facility and had a great time. They especially loved jumping in the pit of giant foam cubes.
Dave has been busy, busy, busy at work and is working on several home projects including, a frame to hang up his stained glass and designing a deck for the backyard.
Bryce played with his school at the region band festival. I went to hear them and they did great!

Toothless

Brett lost another tooth last night, giving him that great toothless grin that is so cute. So, I thought I would post pictures of all the kids in various stages of toothlessness.
Brett-after losing his first tooth.
Paige-the most toothless of all.
Paige and the cute envelope holding her tooth for the toothfairy.
Ty-during our Christmas eve "snow storm" of several years ago.
Ty-always with a big smile
Bryce- in need of 2 front teeth.
Bryce-showing how cheap the toothfairy is.

Birthday Boy

Brett was so excited to invite his friends to his birthday party (we had family parties last year). After changing his mind several times he decided on a "Mad Scientist" party. I ordered some super cute, kid-sized safety glasses and the big kids helped with the "experiments". We made slime, from water and corn starch. It has qualities of a liquid and a solid, so it is lots of fun to play with. Everyone made their own volcano in a bottle and we pulled out the boys old cub scout volcanoes. Then we made film canister/alka seltzer rockets which is always a favorite at our house. The dads enjoyed them more than anyone! Brett had a great time with his friends and everyone got messy!
